| The Glitz |
| Click here to see this year's raffle packages! On February 23, 2008 the Five Acre PSO will sponsor the sixth annual Glitz at SunLand Golf and Country Club in Sequim from 7:00 to 11:00 pm. The Glitz is an exciting evening of dancing and entertainment with music by the fabulous S-Curves, a trio of fabulous singers, including Juanita Ramsey-Jevne, backed by a sensational band. You can swing, waltz, or rock ’n’ roll to music from the 40’s, 50’s and 60’s, while supporting our children of Five Acre School. The Glitz is a fun, dressy evening with a classy and elegant décor. The event includes exquisite, handcrafted hors d’oeuvres, a cash bar, raffle, silent auction and optional portraits. All event proceeds are use to purchase necessary equipment and to fund tuition scholarships to benefit the school and its children. Last year was by far the best Glitz yet, raising over $15,000! Sincere thanks to all of the businesses and individuals who donated time, talent and fabulous prizes to make this such a successful event. Some items purchased in past years are: Music Equipment (xylophones, marimbas and rhythm instruments) Library books Math and Primary Class manipulatives Outdoor and dramatic play equipment Blocks for all classrooms Our Lisa Inman Scholarship Fund is named in memory of a dedicated and beloved Five Acre School teacher who believed the doors of Five Acre School should be open to all interested students. Each year, Lisa Inman made a large, anonymous donation to the Five Acre School scholarship fund. In keeping with her generous spirit, event proceeds will be directed to this scholarship fund to help ensure a family's income is not a barrier to enrollment at Five Acre School.
